ABOUT UWL
United Wind Logistics offers fully integrated logistic concepts for the offshore wind industry. UWL specializes in the sea transport of offshore wind components such as blades, nacelles, towers, and foundations from manufacturing sites to preassembly sites or directly to the installation sites.
United Wind Logistics operates a fleet of specialized deck carriers that have been designed to meet the very specific requirements of the offshore wind industry. For these vessels, UWL developed a unique cargo securing techniques to realize a significant reduction of transport costs.
With an operating fleet of about 28 highly specialized vessels with capacities ranging between 10,000 and 82,000 DWT and a combined lifting capacity of up to 900 mtons, UNITED HEAVY LIFT offers the full bandwidth from standard transportation to custom made engineering and transport solutions.
UNITED HEAVY LIFT has successfully served the project and break bulk market since its debut in April 2015. Being a privately owned company, founded by Mr. Lars Rolner, creates flexibility and a dynamic way of doing business, which is crucial when delivering the best service and highest standards.
